The Juliana Trail is a 267 km long-distance trail around the Julian Alps. It runs through valleys, overpasses, forests, urban and rural areas, along the Soca and Sava Rivers. The trail runs across the areas around the Julian Alps mountain range. It starts near the Slovenian/Italian border in Kranjska Gora, which is a well-known winter and summer tourist resort, and continues along the Sava River, across the Karavanke mountain range, where it offers beautiful views of the highest peak in Slovenia, Mt Triglav.
You will start your 6 days/ 5 nights hike at lake Bled, one of the Slovenian and European pearls, crossing the Pokljuka plateau in the centre of the Triglav National Park, descent to the picturesque Lake Bohinj where you will explore the stunning Bohinj valley.
