Cancellation policy

In case you want to cancel your outdoor trip, follow the following terms and conditions.

What happens if I have to cancel a trip?

If you book a trip more than 30 days in advance, you have the option of cancelling the trip free of charge and receiving a full refund without deductions up to 30 days before departure.

After this period (30 days before departure) you will have the option to cancel the trip according to the following compensation scheme (refunded or paid, depending on whether the payment was made and received):

  • 100% refund (excluding cancellation fees) if the cancellation is notified in writing to the organizer up to 30 days before the first day of the tour (we deduct only 3% of the amount paid at the time of booking as an administrative fee) and any non-refundable costs );
  • 75% refunded (or 25% paid) if the cancellation is notified in writing to the organizer by e-mail between 29 and 20 days before the first day of the tour (minus 3% of the amount paid at the time of booking as an administrative fee) and any non-refundable costs to organize a tour);
  • 50% refunded (or 50% paid) if the cancellation is notified in writing to the guide by e-mail between 19 and 10 days before the first day of the tour (minus 3% of the amount paid at the time of booking as an administrative fee) and any non-refundable costs had them to organize the tour);
  • No refund (or 100% payment) if the cancellation is notified in writing to the guide by email less than 10 days before the first day of the tour.

In case of bad weather or unsuitable conditions for carrying out the activity, the agency will: a) suggest a similar activity in another place where the conditions are better, or

b) propose to postpone the activity to a later date, or

c) cancel the entire trip. If you reject option a), the cancellation policy will apply. Please note that the trip can only be cancelled by the contractor due to bad weather. an agency that carries out outdoor activities. Due to the travel time, the customer cannot cancel. In exceptional circumstances, the agency may, at its discretion, decide to reimburse the customer for the purchase price (minus the transaction fee and other costs of the organization).

The customer service fee paid at the time of booking is non-refundable. It is advisable to have an insurance policy that covers cancellations.

Please note that if accommodation, flights or transport were included on the trip you booked, then a different policy may apply as the agency will comply with the provider’s cancellation policy.

What happens if the agency cancels the trip due to coronavirus (COVID-19)?

We are closely monitoring the situation in the field of coronavirus according to legal sources, such as the World Health Organization (WHO).

Before cancelling a tour, we strongly advise you to talk to the agency and discuss other options (e.g. postponing the tour to this year later or even next year). We will do our best to find the best solution for everyone.

If you have to cancel a tour due to coronavirus (COVID-19), you will receive a full refund of the amount you paid to confirm the trip (in addition to any customer service fees charged), minus an administrative cancellation fee ( 3% of the amount you paid) and any non-refundable costs we had to organize the trip.

The above specific cancellation policy will apply if:

  • The authorities of the country you are coming to advise you not to travel to the country(ies) where your tour will take place;
  • The authorities of the country in which your tour will take place do not allow entry.

Otherwise, the standard cancellation policy will apply.

If your flight has been cancelled but local authorities advise against travelling to the country (s) where your visit will take place, please contact the airline to confirm the options available to you, including alternative flights and/or refunds. If you are unable to get there and join the tour you have booked, the standard cancellation policy will apply.

What happens if an outdoor agency cancels the trip due to bad weather / inappropriate conditions?

If bad weather or unsuitable conditions force us to cancel the trip, we will:

a) suggest a similar activity in another place where conditions are better, or

b) propose to postpone the outdoor activity to a later date, or

c) cancel the entire arrangement. If you decline option a), our cancellation policy will apply. Please note that the trip can only be cancelled by the contractor due to bad weather. an agency that carries out outdoor activities. Due to the travel time, the customer cannot cancel. In exceptional circumstances, the agency may, at its discretion, decide to reimburse the customer for the purchase price (minus the transaction fee and other costs of the organization).

The cancellation policy is valid from 1.5.2021
