We find gravel biking as one of the best ways to explore new places and truly experience Slovenia and the Julian Alps. We have designed a self-guided program where you will ride the Juliana Bike trail. We have designed the day rides in a way that you will experience the top spots of Bohinj valley, lake Bled and the Triglav National Park. The tour is centre-based and you will be staying close to the largest lake in Slovenia; lake Bohinj in the heart of the national park. This is a perfect combination for a variety of cycling in pristine nature exploring the natural and cultural attractions of the area. “Best of gravel in Bohinj valley” is one of the best tours we can offer to you so we invite you to come and have fun on your bike.

Total tour distance: 440 km

Highlights of Juliana mountain biking adventure – MTB

You will experience the most fun and adrenaline-fueled water experiences with us.

What we’ll do: Route plan day by day

Day 1 will start with a welcome meeting, where you will get all the final information and materials for your trip. If you choose to rent bikes with us, this will also be the day when we will fit the bike to your needs. We recommend following the day rides as we suggest, but since you will be centre-based, you can choose on your own what ride to do. If you come early we invite you to explore ride to the most visited waterfall in Slovenia; the Savica waterfall. The ride is designed in a way, that you will experience almost the entire Bohinj area, including the upper and lower valley, lake area and Voje valley. This tour will also help you in the upcoming days to get around the area, find your perfect spot for a swim in the Bohinj lake, choose where to take the perfect photo, or discover many traditional restaurants and inns.

You will also ride through the higher-lying villages of the Bohinj valley and finish the day with a beautiful descent back to the valley.
