Bike ride from Kranjska Gora to Bovec & Soča Valley
It is a popular cycling trip from Kranjska Gora to the famous Soča Valley. One of the most popular Slovenian road cycling challenges is the cycling route to the Vršič Pass. The descent into the Soča valley is epic and fast.
The Vršič mountain pass is, at 1611 m, the highest road pass in the Eastern Julian Alps. The Highmountain road from Kranjska Gora via Vršič to Log in Trenta has 50 serpentines, 24 on the Kranjska Gora side and 26 on the Trenta side (Soča Valley).
The route will lead you past Lake Jasna. You will climb to the top of Vršič at the 1611m altitude, then descend to the Trenta valley. You can stop to see the source of Soča (20 min walk, payment), the Triglav National Park Museum in Trenta, and the Small and Big Soča River gorges. Kranjska Gora & Goreljek
A picturesque cycling route from Pokljuka – Radovna Valley – Karma Valley – Vrata Valley. This biking road takes along the Sava River to the Kranjska Gora and Italy. It takes along the Sava River to Kranjska Gora.
From the embrace of the mighty Pokljuka spruce forests, descend into the Radovna and Krma valleys. On the way you can see many natural sights, especially don’t miss the famous Peričnik waterfall. On the Goreljek-Kranjska Gora biking trail, You will admire the highest peaks of the Julian Alps.

Cycling trail Kot & Krma
The biking trail from Mojstrana to the Kot and Krma valleys is a real treat for cyclists who want to cycle in nature.
The beautiful alpine valley Krma is one of three alpine valleys that start at Mojstrana. Krma Valley is the longest and is seven kilometers long from start to finish. Kot valley is the shortest and steepest Triglav valley in the Julian Alps. It is about 3 km long. This route through the Kot and Krma valleys is entirely in the Triglav National Park. It is considered one of the oldest European national parks.

Jesenice – Kranjska Gora – Rateče
Officially called the Cycling Trail of Jure Robič, it is already well known as the best, most famous, and longest in the Gorenjska region. It runs from Jesenice to the border of Italy. The total length of the road is about 28 km. You can continue your tour to Italy towards Trbiž, past Žabnica to Ponteba, or turn left just after the border and follow the trail leading to the beautiful Lake Fusine. From Mojstrana, the track winds gently up through the Upper Sava Valley, climbing 255 meters to Rateče.
