What we’ll do
Guided van-tour around the Julian Alps – Version 1
Our tour starts in Bled (optionally in Ljubljana for an additional fee).
The route will lead us towards the Upper Sava Valley to Kranjska Gora, with a stop at the protected Zelenci park.
Continue towards Predel (stops on the way – lago di Predil, photo stop Predil, Loška stena and Strmec, Log pod Mangartom), further past Kluž (tunnel stop, troughs). We turn in the direction of Vršič.
Easier hikes Soča trail to the suspension bridges, then Velika Korita Soča, Lepena, Šunikov water park. This is followed by a stop for lunch and our tours in the direction of Trenta, the Botanical Garden (optional), then towards the Zadnya Trenta valley (walk) and drive across Vršič with the last stop at Lake Jasna and then back to Bled.
Guided van-tour around the Julian Alps – Version 2
Our tour starts in Bled (optionally in Ljubljana for an additional fee). The route will lead us towards the Upper Sava Valley to Kranjska Gora, with a stop at the protected Zelenci park.
We will continue our tour towards Predel (stops on the way – lago di Predil, photo stop Predil, Loška stena and Strmec, Log pod Mangartom), further past Kluž (stop tunnel, troughs).
We will continue our journey in the direction of Vršič and visit the Great Soča Basin. We will continue our research in the direction of Bovec and on the way to Kobarid we will see the mighty Boka Waterfall. This is followed by a stop for lunch.
After lunch, we will continue the tour towards Kobarid, where you will see the Kozjak waterfall and the Italian ossuary above Kobarid. After the sightseeing, drive past Tolmin in the direction of Podbrdo across Soriška planina back to Bled (optional stops in between).
What do you need?
You need a lot of good will and the nerve to explore the beautiful Alpine landscape. You need hiking shoes and clothes, as well as snacks and drinks for the trip.
