Would you like to go to the mountains? But you are not a fan of high mountains and high rocky peaks? Then you have to visit one of the mountains in the middle of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. Some peaks offer invaluable views of the surrounding area and the highest peaks. We have chosen the mountains that are easily accessible. You will spend a maximum of 2 hours walking and offer the most beautiful views of the KSA.
Veliki Zvoh (1971 m)
Veliki Zvoh is the highest point of the Krvavec ski resort. There is a lake for artificial snowing on the ski slopes of a ski resort. A beautiful view of the Kalški ridge and the peaks of KSA and the Julian Alps will impress you. If you walk to the top from Kriška Planina (1480 m), you will reach the top at 1:30.
Vrh Korena (1999 m) and Kompotela (1989 m)
Vrh Korena is between Zvoh and the Kalški Greben near the ski slopes of Krvavec. On the top of Krvavec, there is a beautiful view of the highest peaks of the Kamnik and Savinja Alps. Kompotela is a 1989m high peak near Vrh Korena and Mokrica. The peaks are overgrown with grass and dwarf pine. At the top, you will experience an unforgettable view of the peaks Grintovec, Skuta, Brana, Planjava and Kalški Greben. The most beautiful view of the nearby mountains at sunset light. The peaks get a nice purple colour.

Dleskovec (1965m)
Dleskovec is the highest peak of the Dleskovec plateau on the eastern side of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. The Dleskovec plateau is a mountain in the middle of the KSA. From the top of Dleskovec, there is a beautiful view of the whole plateau and the highest peaks of the nearby mountains. The hiking trail from Planina Ravni takes about 1:45 minutes. Mountain is a popular hiking spot for winter hikers and Ski-touring skiers.
Lanež (1925 m)
Lanež is a less pronounced peak located in the eastern part of Raduha. From the top, we have a beautiful view of the nearby Mala Raduha, Olševa, Peca, Uršlja Gora, Smrekovec hills and the eastern part of the KSA peaks. On the top is a small tower that marks the top. Lanež is a popular destination for winter hiking and ski-touring.
Velika planina and Gradišče (1666 m)
It is not necessary to present a large mountain especially. It is a popular hiking spot in the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. There are alpine huts and cattle graze in the summer. Gradišče (also Njivice) is the highest peak of Velika Planina at an altitude of 1666 m. From there you will see the highest peaks of KSA. The most beautiful mountains are the Kalški Greben, the central Grintovci, Planjava, Ojstrica and Deska and Dleskovec. There is also a small ski resort on Velika Planina. It is a popular destination for winter hiking and ski-touring.

Strelovec – Robanov kot (1763 m)
The viewing peak is between two alpine valleys, Logarska Dolina and Robanov kot. The view from the top is the most beautiful to the east of the mountain wall above the valleys. Ojstrica, Raduga, Rinke, Turska gora, etc. The path to the top is a bit longer. If you head to the top from the Robanov kot valley, you will reach the top in just 3 hours.
Strevčeva peč (1338 m)
It is a rock that rises above the entrance to the Logarska Dolina park. The rock walls of Strevčeva pečina are popular among climbers. You can walk to the top of the cliff in front of the church of Sv. Spirit under Olševo. You will spend about half an hour walking to the top of the cliff. The path will lead you through the forest. In the last meters, it rises steeply to the top of the cliff. From the top, there is a beautiful view of the Logar Valley and the peaks of KSA.
Smrekovec and Komen (1684 m)
Smrekovec is a mountain of volcanic origin on the eastern edge of the Smrekovec mountains. The top is very stretched and overgrown with grass. A pyramid is placed on the top. The view reaches very far. On the north, it is slightly obstructed by forest. At 1684 m, Komen is the highest peak of the Smrekovec mountains, a mountain range bordering Styria and Carinthia. From the top, in good weather, we have a beautiful view of Peca, Uršlja Gora, nearby Krnes, Golte, Menina Planina, the central Kamnik Savinja Alps and Travnik and Raduha. The peak is also accessible in winter. On the trail, you will meet many touring skiers.

Deska – Veža (1907 m)
The Deska is a scenic peak located in the heart of the Dleskovec plateau. From the top, we have a beautiful view of the highest peaks of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps and most of central Slovenia. From the top of Planina Podvežak, you will walk for approximately 1:30 hours. You can also go to the top in the winter with the appropriate equipment. Deska is popular among touring skiers who love adrenaline.
Konj (1803 m)
Mount Konj is an 1803m high peak located between Velika Planina and Presedlja. From the top, we have a beautiful view of the highest peaks of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps and Reznik and its almost vertical northern wall. The shortest way to the top is from Planina Dol. The estimated time of the hike is 1:30 hours.
Vratca (1802 m)
The peak stands above the Jezersko valley, west of Češka koča. You will recognize it by the shape of the tower. There is a beautiful view of the Jezersko valley and the northern walls of Grintovec peaks. The estimated time to the top from Ravenska Kočna is 2:15 hours
Rzenik (1833 m)
Rzenik is an 1833m high mountain with a grassy plateau surrounded by dwarf pine, which descends abruptly towards the valley of Kamniška Bela. There is a beautiful view of the highest peaks of the Kamnik- Savinja Alps and their foothills. The route from Planina Dol will take you 1:40 hours
