What we’ll do (Program)

Typical flow (adjusted to your chosen location and conditions):

  1. Meet at the agreed trailhead (depends on your selected route) and short safety briefing.
  2. Gear check & preparation (headlamp for sunrise; snowshoes/microspikes in winter if selected).
  3. Guided ascent at a steady pace with photo stops and short breaks.
  4. Main moment: sunrise or sunset from a panoramic viewpoint – time to enjoy the scenery, take photos, and learn about the surrounding peaks.
  5. Safe descent back to the starting point and wrap-up.

Routes you can select when booking:
Golte, Velika Planina, Menina Planina, Dleskovška Plateau, Kašna Planina, and more (by agreement).

Important notes:

  • The guide may adjust the final route or timing due to weather, snow, visibility, or safety.
  • Children are welcome only on Easy and Alpine Challenge options.
  • Advanced Alpine Challenge is Adults-only.

Difficulty levels explanation

Easy

  • Suitable for beginners and families with active kids.
  • Mostly well-marked trails, gentle inclines, and a relaxed pace.
  • No exposed sections; basic fitness is enough.

Alpine Challenge

  • For regular hikers who want a bit more challenge.
  • Steeper climbs, longer distance and/or more elevation gain.
  • Terrain may be rocky or uneven; sure-footedness and good fitness recommended.

Advanced Alpine Challenge

  • For experienced hikers only (Adults-only).
  • Longer and steeper route with demanding terrain (rocky, steep, possibly some exposed sections).
  • Requires excellent fitness, strong balance, and confidence on mountain trails; the guide may adjust route for safety.
