Magnificent views of the snow-capped highest peaks of the Kamnik-Savnji Alps are the highlight of this fairy tale.
The path is relatively flat and well-marked. Part of the route is a cross-country ski track. Walking on it is comfortable and easy. You will most of the time walk in a rich spruce forest or on open alpine meadows. You can extend the journey by 1 hour or more. You can extend the route as you wish and walk along the new forest road to Štularjeva Planina, which lies at an altitude of 1270 m above sea level (an additional 45 minutes). Via Kačje Rob along the marked path to the neighbouring valley of Makekova kočna and to the centre of Jeziersko for 1 hour.
The guide will accompany you safely on your way and introduce you to all the peaks that will surround you on the way. It will be a wonderful experience for the whole family.
You will need warm hiking clothes (hat, gloves, hiking poles), a snack and a drink. If you don’t have snowshoes, you can borrow them from us.
