The snow has already covered the hills and mountains, it’s time to go for a walk. Put on your hiking boots and snowshoes and start exploring Triglav National Park and the Julian Alps.
The highlights from the winter tour with snowshoes around the Dleskovec Plateau in the Kamnik-Savinjske Alps
How we will carry out our winter adventure largely depends on the snow conditions.
We will drive to Pokljuka. Pokljuka is a high karst plateau on the eastern edge of the Triglav National Park. It lies between 1,200 and 1,500 m above sea level. Here will winter adventure begins.
You will put on your hiking boots, snowshoes or crampons and start exploring.
We will start our journey at Pokljuka and continue in the direction of Zajamniki Mountain or Lipanca Mountain. It depends on which direction we will go.
We will adapt the tour to your requirements and capabilities.
Anyone can go on a winter snowshoe tour in the mountains. It will be interesting, especially for children.
If you want a more challenging tour, we will climb one of the 2000m peaks (Debela peč 2014m, Viševnik 2050m, Brda 2008m).
You will need warm hiking clothes (hat, gloves, hiking poles), a snack and a drink. If you don’t have snowshoes, you can borrow them from us.
