We will go to the heart of the Triglav National Park and conquer the second highest peak in the Julian Alps. Scarlet Mountain is considered a difficult peak to reach, as the path is long and technically demanding. You will need a lot of courage and also climbing skills. The trail is suitable for well-prepared mountaineers.
We will start the tour in the early morning hours from Bohinj Valley. The path will first lead us through the forest and after about an hour of walking, we will reach the forest border. On the way, we will have a view of the highest peak in Slovenia, the mountain Triglav 2864m.
You need the appropriate mountaineering equipment for the tour.
